OCTOBER 17, 2024 – VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING FOR SUBDIVISION APPLICATION AT 18100 CASHELL ROAD, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND

BBSG attorneys will conduct a virtual public hearing on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 7:30 pm to provide information and an opportunity for public comment on a proposed subdivision plan for property located at 18100 Cashell Road, Rockville, Maryland.  The subdivision site contains approximately five acres of land on Cashell Road between Bowie Mill Road and Morningwood Drive, across Cashell Road from Archwood Way.  Currently, an Alfred House senior assisted living and memory care facility is located on the portion of the site closest to Cashell Road.  There is also a two-story garage that is used for storage and office space, which will be removed in connection with this subdivision. 

The applicant, Dr. Veena J. Alfred, plans to file an application this month to subdivide the property into five lots, each measuring about an acre to an acre and a half.  One lot will be occupied by the Alfred House care facility and the other four lots are expected to be developed with single-family homes.
