Teal Hinga’s practice focuses on the representation of landlords in a wide range of commercial and residential real estate matters throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Ms. Hinga’s practice includes guiding clients through the complex and constantly evolving regulatory landscapeand court processes governing landlord-tenant matters.
Ms. Hinga handles a wide variety of client needs, including landlord-tenant and civil litigation, administrative claims involving alleged violations of housing laws, and litigation stemming from lease violations and nonpayment. While Ms. Hinga frequently appears in court on behalf of her clients, she focuses on achieving their goals not only through litigation and settlement, but also through practical guidance regarding compliance with federal, state, and local laws to help avoid potential claims.
Prior to joining BBS&G, Ms. Hinga practiced extensively in the areas of landlord-tenant litigation and general civil litigation throughout the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland, Virginia, andthe District of Columbia.
