Mr. Hansen’s practice focuses on the representation of landlords in litigation throughout the courts of Maryland. His practice includes a wide variety of civil litigation, including housing discrimination defense issues, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury and property damage claims, employment claims, housing claims, and commercial and contract matters. His practice features a substantial component of financing, leasing, refinancing, and purchase and sale transactions.
Prior to joining BBS&G, Mr. Hansen served as an Analyst with the Accreditation Commission of Career Schools and Colleges where he provided financial and legal analysis of merger and acquisition transactions to regulatory professionals. Mr. Hansen has also practiced at a small firm where he represented landlords, divorcees, and personal injury victims.
During law school, Mr. Hansen served as a student attorney with the University of Baltimore’s Community Development Clinic where he represented Baltimore-area community development organizations and small business owners.
