Successfully defended a client against a claim for $190 million in a ten-day arbitration matter in New York. The complex action involved a claim for fees arising out of previous litigation related to an international terrorist attack.

We worked with a New York Stock Exchange company to lease over 16 million square feet of local properties including office, retail, and industrial.

We successfully represented the owners of a mid-Atlantic healthcare company at a six-day arbitration hearing in Washington, D.C., who were being sued for control of the company.

Favorably defended a large real estate developer in Washington, D.C., by winning summary judgment on all claims, including fraud.

We worked with a local developer to assemble real property valued at $30 million in order to increase the property’s entitlement to allow for a $150 million mixed-use development.

Successfully argued an appeal to the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland that reversed a punitive-damages award against an international distributor of tablet computers.
