Christopher Bowman’s practice focuses on the representation of large commercial property owners in contract, lease, and general civil litigation matters. He has successfully represented numerous clients, including publicly traded national real estate investment trusts, in the prosecution and defense of lease and property-related claims in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He also represents clients in the negotiation of commercial lease modifications, workouts, and amendments.

Mr. Bowman’s litigation experience includes representing clients in disputes involving common law claims, monetary and non-monetary lease defaults, damages claims, and claims for injunctive relief. A substantial portion of his practice also involves the representation of creditors in collection and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Bowman is skilled at identifying, locating, and pursuing assets owned by commercial debtors. Collectively, he has secured millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Bowman joined the firm in 2007. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Bowman was an associate with the Fairfax, Virginia law firm of Jordan, Coyne & Savits, L.L.P., where he focused on the defense of complex civil lawsuits.
