Jennifer (Lucy) Wiggins‘ practice focuses primarily on commercial transactions and civil litigation. She handles a variety of transactional matters, such as drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documents. She also handles complex litigation related to contract disputes and construction. Ms. Wiggins is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New York.
Before joining Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday, LLC, Ms. Wiggins practiced at a litigation firm in downtown Washington D.C., where she gained valuable experience practicing in federal and state courts in the District of Columbia, Florida, and California, as well as before a variety of District of Columbia administrative agencies, including the Office of Administrative Hearings and Alcoholic Beverage Control Board on complex matters involving contract disputes, real property, and environmental law. She has also clerked for Judge Lawrence J. Block at the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Ms. Wiggins received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University. While in law school, Ms. Wiggins had the privilege to intern for the Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera, who was then at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
