Mark A. Gilday Bethesda, Maryland
Mr. Gilday handles a variety of commercial transactions and civil lawsuits providing experienced, efficient, and committed representation to clients throughout the Mr. Gilday represents numerous real estate and business clients on a wide variety of issues. For example, Mr. Gilday provides clients with general business advice, negotiates and drafts contracts (e.g., leasing, brokerage, construction, purchase and sale, and employment contracts), and regularly assists clients with the many legal issues that confront businesses today. Mr. Gilday also interprets and enforces leases, brokerage agreements, and related contracts. Mr. Gilday has served on the board of Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR). Mr. Gilday graduated from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. in 1975. He received a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland in 1982, and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1985. After graduating from law school, Mr. Gilday served for three years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Gilday is an Adjunct Professor of law at the American University Washington College of Law, where he teaches trial advocacy. Mr. Gilday has also been an instructor of law in the subjects of legal ethics, torts, and litigation at the University of Maryland, University College. He also taught constitutional law, torts, and criminal law and procedure at Beaufort Technical College in Beaufort, South Carolina. Mr. Gilday is AV Rated* in Martindale-Hubbell.
