Danielle Turner Erkmann Bethesda, Maryland
Danielle Erkmann concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, general corporate and business representation, equine law, litigation and estates and trusts. Her practice entails complex commercial lease and contract negotiation; general business, corporate and professional organization representation; and litigation. She represents a wide variety of clients including commercial landlords and tenants, corporations, start-up businesses and individuals. Ms. Erkmann is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association. Ms. Erkmann joined Bregman, Berbert & Schwartz in 2002 after obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in May, 2001. During law school, she spent her summers in Alaska where she served as an intern for the Alaska Public Defender Agency after her first year and as a summer associate for Cook Inlet Region, Inc. after her second year. In addition to her summer positions, Ms. Erkmann served as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney's office in Tucson, Arizona; for the Honorable John M. Roll in Tucson, Arizona; and for Senator Jon Kyl in Washington, D.C. During her final year of law school, Ms. Erkmann spent the first semester working for Senator Kyl and the second semester as a visiting student at Georgetown University Law Center.
